Enthusiasm

According to the pastor in service this morning, "enthusiasm" comes from the Greek words meaning "in God." I find this. . .inspiring. Care to comment and/or expound (Naomi)?

  1. Yup, it's true. En and theos. From what I can gather, it was originally used to describe religious fervor and then must have morphed to mean any kind of fervor.
