Some good points. It's always nice to hear reason. I had read that the lesson plans said "help President Obama improve public education," not just "help President Obama," but I don't know which is correct--maybe both. And that celebrity video sounds ridiculous. I haven't seen it, but I don't think it's fair to blame the administration for something that was privately produced. Whether the administration encouraged schools to show the video, I don't know. I certainly hope not.
