If Life were a Movie about ME. . .

the sun would be my own personal spotlight, the rain my scheduled daily shower, and the clouds attenuated to my personal desire for shade.

Obviously, life is not a movie about me.

I think someone should write a poem, if not a book, entitled If Life were a Movie about Me, and the first line should be "the sun would be my own personal spotlight." However, the only books I can think of that might have such a title are silly contemporary novels or almost-equally-questionable inspirational/self-help snippets. Oh well. . .you have to admit it's a catchy title.

You should hear how hard I'm laughing. That can be the beginning of the poem....think a little bit more and you could finish it.

I love these lines.

You should write the book, Alicia. I would read it!

Alicia, one question. Are your really reading 5 books at once? My limit is 2 or 3 and even then the stories/comments tend to get overlapped in my brain. And you wonder why I wake up every morning having had the most bizarre dreams...

See, the marriage book is for Sunday School, so we only read about a chapter a week (or 4 this week, because we've been gone and got behind). The story book I only pick up once in a great while, and they're stories, so there's no connected ideas to keep up with. The other 3 I am reading on a fairly regular basis. . .a basis that is sure to plummet sharply with the advent of school.

4 chapters in a week? Man, y'all are church skippers. ;-)

Just kidding, of course.

Ha. You are making the assumption that we only discuss 1 chapter in a week. In fact, we have only missed ONE week, and that was due to unavoidable family arrangements. So there. . . .

LOL

Good for you.
